Of all of the events I will ever plan, this one will likely stand out to me as the most memorable. Hopefully not because it will be the most creative, or most fabulous wedding I ever plan (I'm hoping to continue improving with age ;P) but because it is my own wedding, of course.
With less than two months to go, I’m happy to report that I’ve felt calm and collected, with moments of tremendous joy and excitement to see all of my ideas and planning come to pass, and even more so to embark on a new and exciting chapter in my life. I also cannot help but to stop and feel so flattered and humbled by the love that my very dearest friends have shown me in supporting and listening to all of the details that come with planning a giant party to celebrate such a wonderful life event.
Last week, my maid of honor and I took a short trip to Charleston, SC- the location of my fiancé and I’s sort-of- destination wedding to finalize details with vendors, do cake tastings and have some general get to know the city better time.
My lovely companion.
Little sneak peaks of the venue.
And of course, selecting cake. I may be a little biased, but I believe with all my heart and soul that Artistic Cakes by Linda is the best wedding cake I ever tried. It was so moist, and practically melted in my mouth.
Until next time!
